In the heart of major tourist land, this family owned cafe is a great place for a quick bite. Mom and pop man the place and run a tight ship.
I was drawn here by the big sign announcing that they serve Marine Ices ice cream. So, I emerged a few minutes later £1.50 poorer but clutching a tub of yummy lemon sorbet. Perfect place to pick up something to counter the sun for my stroll through Hyde Park. -

Really incredible service here. So so friendly - felt like we were family. They went way over and above to accommodate us. Very convenient spot by Queenswater tube and Hyde Park. Also do a great veggie breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

I came in here during my stay at the Hilton hotel located next door. The food was perfectly fine. I think I was just a little let down because while I was waiting for my meal I had such a great conversation with the Owner/Manager, that I sort of expected the food to match his awesomeness. I would come here again, for sure. I'll just keep those expectations in check.

A great little cafe near Hyde Park with a charming owner with a lot of enthusiasm and warmth. He has excellent customer service which is not always found in London. There's also free wi-fi here. They serve a full English breakfast with coffee or tea for a great price. There are also other breakfast options for those who want something lighter. You can sit outside when the weather is nice. Definitely worth checking out if you're around the Queensway Tube stop.
